A Glorious Birthday Tribute to Rt. Hon. Habu Isa Ajiya

 60th Golden Jubilee Celebration

September always comes to remind us of the journey of a leader who has marked his name in gold, not with pen, but with the weight of his achievements in serving humanity.

Today, Taraba State celebrates one of its finest sons, a proud native of Jalingo Local Government Area, a leader whose life has been a blessing to his people and whose legacy will continue to inspire generations, Rt. Hon. Habu Isa Ajiya, former Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, as he marks his 60th Birthday.

Hon. Habu Isa Ajiya’s journey is a shining story of vision, courage, and dedication to service. From his earliest days in public office, he has carried the banner of leadership with integrity and humility. His political career is marked with milestones that speak louder than words and achievements that remain evergreen in the hearts of the people.

As Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council, though for a short period, he displayed rare foresight by converting the Local Government Library into the famous Danburam Health Centre, a facility that continues to serve countless lives. His decision reflected a leader whose foremost concern was the health and wellbeing of his people.

As Commissioner of Education, he transformed access to learning across the State by creating Junior Secondary Schools in communities where children had to trek long distances just to attend school. This bold initiative opened doors of opportunity and built a foundation for many to rise through the power of education.

As Member representing Jalingo I Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly, and later emerging as Speaker, he stood tall as a symbol of fairness, unity, and the deepening of democracy in the State. His tenure was marked by inclusiveness, courage, and principled leadership during some of the most testing political moments in Taraba’s history.

On the national stage, as a Member of the National Conference, he carried the voice of Taraba State with strength and wisdom, contributing meaningfully to discussions that shaped the future of our great nation.

Beyond the titles and positions, Right Honourable Habu Isa Ajiya, is known for his humility, simplicity, and wisdom. A bridge-builder, a mentor, and a statesman, he remains an inspiration to both the young and the old, commanding respect and admiration wherever his name is mentioned.

Today, at 60, we celebrate not just his age, but the rich legacy of service, sacrifice, and humanity that he has given to Taraba State and Nigeria. May Almighty God bless him with long life, sound health, and endless joy in the years ahead.

At SIXTY, Your star shines ever bright,

A life of service, a guiding light.

We pray for joy, good health, and peace,

And endless blessings that never cease.

Happy 60th Birthday to a distinguished leader and illustrious son of Taraba, Right Honourable Habu Isa Ajiya. Your name will forever be written in gold in the history of our dear State and the nation at large.
