In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Mr. Sunday Dare, the Presidency said the change “comes in continuation of the government’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s national security architecture.” With the latest appointments, General Olufemi Oluyede becomes the Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Christopher Musa.
